About the Little Rock Dart Association

The LRDA exists to promote darts in the Little Rock/Central Arkansas area. The LRDA is a steel-tip dart league. League play is based on caliber of teams, with play starting at the "C Division" level, and advancing up to "B Division", and "A Division". Teams play on Thursday evenings. Each team consists of from 4 to 8 players.

The format of play for league is 8 matches. 4 Singles Matches starting with 501, then Cricket. 2 Doubles Cricket Matches. 2 Doubles 501 Matches. All Matches are best 2 of 3 games, for Singles matches, it is Corkers choice if a third and final game is required. Each Singles Match counts for 1 Point for the Winning team, and each Doubles Match counts as 2 Points for the Winning team, for a total of 12 possible points. The team with the most points at the end of the night is the victor.

After normal league season play, is a "Playoff" bracket, composed of division winning teams, runners up teams, and possibly some wild card teams (depending on the number of divisions of play at each league level).

The LRDA is governed by a board of directors. The board discusses league business, handles match protests, and in general, oversees the operations of the association.
