It is with a heavy heart that I announce LRDA lost one of its own early yesterday morning. Monica “Monkey” Mebert, passed away due to complications from open heart surgery. Monica had been an active member of the LRDA for over thirty years and a board member for more than ten. She was instrumental in organizing, promoting, and running darting events for the LRDA for many years.

She will be greatly missed by those of us who were privileged to call her friend. Please keep her family in your prayers as they make their way through this difficult time. I do not have any information on what services will be held or when, but will pass that information on as soon as it becomes available.
